Everyone overspends on something... but are you brave enough to confess to what it is?
Welcome to Cleo's Confessional Corner.
This was Cleo's first in-person activation, taking place in New York City. We gave away free coffee at Unregular Bakery in Union Square to anyone who downloaded the app and set up a Cleo savings account. In the back of the cafe we hosted confessional-style interviews which would later launch into a viral series across social media. Those who were brave enough to confess were given a free pastry or donut from the bakery.
The idea behind this campaign was to encourage savings before the holiday season and reach our goal of 200 app downloads/day. By the end of the 2 days managed to exceeded our app download goal by over 100+ downloads.
I was a key component of this campaign from early ideation phase to day-of activation. This was a special campaign to be part of, as it was the first ever in-person activation at Cleo. I created a detailed content strategy for the month leading up to the event, day-of, and the confessional video series.
